The Well is seeking a Financial Planner for their College Station, TX office. In this role, you will build and implement comprehensive financial plans while engaging with clients to establish trust. Financial Planner (On-site, College Station, TX)

We’re hiring a Financial Planner on behalf of our client, a growing fee-only fiduciary wealth management firm based in College Station, TX.


Comp at a glance


  • Base: $80K–$110K (most competitive profiles land closer to the top end)

  • Realistic Year 1 strong performer: ~$130K (bonus + client growth incentives)

  • On-site: full-time in College Station (focus-from-home days may be available later, not at start)

What you’ll do


  • Build and implement financial plans with depth and accuracy

  • Develop projections including retirement income, tax estimates, risk management, and estate planning recommendations

  • Execute the deeper planning work and support plan presentation prep

  • Participate in client meetings early to learn the firm’s approach and earn trust quickly

  • Bring questions, challenge assumptions, and keep pushing beyond surface-level answers
