Why this role stands out
This is deep planning. Not “plug it into software and print.” You’ll be in the room, shaping strategy, building projections, and translating complex client lives into clear, confident recommendations.
What you’ll do
- Lead deep financial analysis and discovery, connecting recommendations to each client’s full “money story”
- Build and refine advanced projections (retirement, tax, risk management, estate planning considerations)
- Partner closely with the Advisor and planning team to pressure-test plan quality before it ever reaches a client
- Strengthen client relationships through thoughtful communication and exceptional service
- Help raise the bar on planning consistency as the firm scales toward (and beyond) $1B AUM
What they’re looking for
- CFP® strongly preferred (CFA/CPA/JD considered, with expectation to pursue CFP)
- Strong planning background in an RIA / fiduciary environment preferred
- Someone who’s curious, coachable, and confident (high EQ, no ego wars)
- Comfortable ramping: starting as chair 2, earning chair 1 through trust and planning depth
Benefits & growth
- Strong bonus structure tied to firm growth and client introductions
- Paid/provided credential support (CFP®, CFA, ChSNC®), plus CE reimbursement with approval
- Health insurance starts after 90 days
- 401(k) safe harbor match (100% up to 3%, 50% on next 2%)
Interview process highlights
