Job Title: Financial Operations Manager - Landscaping Division

Position Summary:

The Financial Operations Manager for the Landscaping Division plays a critical role in overseeing the financial health and operational accountability of the department. This individual will manage day-to-day financial functions, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and collaborate closely with field and office teams to maintain workflow visibility and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

• Oversee daily banking and cash management activities
• Manage customer invoicing and accounts receivable (A/R)
• Drive A/R collections efforts and maintain timely follow-ups
• Calculate and manage sales commissions in coordination with sales leadership
• Approve all vendor payments and maintain clear documentation and authorization processes

Operational Oversight

• Monitor and track daily/weekly tasks in Aspire to ensure team accountability
• Enforce deadlines to support accurate and timely month-end closings
• Work closely with team leads to identify and address operational bottlenecks
• Help define and standardize internal processes for financial and operational tasks

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as the liaison between finance, sales, and operations teams
• Ensure alignment on financial and operational expectations within the division
• Support the implementation of new workflows, dashboards, and reporting systems

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in financial operations or accounting, preferably in construction, landscaping, or a related industry
• Familiarity with Aspire and Quickbooks Online or other industry-specific management platforms a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High integrity and discretion with sensitive financial information
