The Financial Operations Manager directs a team responsible for the finance function of one or more Company applications or processes. They will be responsible for maintaining associated internal controls within each function.

This position will be in Omaha, NE, and hybrid eligible at manager discretion. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

  • Maintain internal controls within each function and manage communication with IT Infrastructure, Database Management, Software Development, and third-party vendors to ensure systems operate properly, suggest enhancements or changes, and create new procedures as needed.
  • Serve as the main stakeholder and/or Product Owner for the Finance team, responsible for identifying, organizing, prioritizing, and assessing work for a software delivery team. Communicate regularly with internal project stakeholders, sponsors, and other technology teams to ensure smooth project onboarding.
  • Coordinate and oversee new bank account features requested for existing accounts, such as Image Positive Pay, ACH Debit Filters, and ARP reconciliations.
  • Develop, refine, and propose strategies to efficiently collect, manipulate, and analyze data to meet management's reporting requirements and internal or external demands.
  • Manage and develop staff across various levels by evaluating performance, recruiting, and executing personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, transfers, discharges, disciplinary measures, salary adjustments, and staffing decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • CPA or MBA preferred upon hire.
  • Expertise in GAAP.
  • Knowledge and experience with statutory accounting principles.
