Our client, a leading communication services provider, is seeking a Financial Operations Business Analyst to support purchasing, internal chargebacks, and financial reporting. Based in St. Louis, MO, this hybrid role uses Excel to organize data, reconcile records, and prepare management reports.

Experience in procurement or business operations is preferred. The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across departments to move requests forward.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in procurement, purchasing administration, financial operations, or a related business function.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Ability to review financial information and identify discrepancies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and comfort working across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, update, and track tickets in Waypoint/Cherwell.
• Support daily operational tasks, month-end reporting, and administrative activities.
• Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements.
• Review and track statements of work, purchase orders, and related budget information.
• Coordinate with requestors, project owners, Contracts, Legal, and Procurement to move requests forward.
• Support internal software and hardware chargeback processes.
• Reconcile financial records, investigate discrepancies, and assist with expense reclassifications.
• Use Excel to manipulate data, maintain account tracking spreadsheets, and prepare management reports.
