Barnes & Noble Education (BNED) is seeking an Accounting Operations Analyst to support daily reconciliations, payment processing, and reporting across credit card, PayPal, gift cards, web sales, and digital fees. This role operates in a shared-coverage model to ensure timely and accurate accounting operations.

The position requires 2–3 years in accounting operations, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with systems like PeopleSoft, Sales Audit, Helix OMS, and gift card platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting operations, reconciliations or payment processing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with financial systems such as PeopleSoft and Sales Audit.

Responsabilidades

• Reconcile daily payment activity to ensure settlements are complete and accurate.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and supporting schedules; document variances.
• Support merchant onboarding and MID setup for new locations.
• Verify daily web sales and reconcile with Sales Audit and OMS.
• Create recurring reports and respond to stakeholder inquiries.
