Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch invites an Associate to support the product team in achieving goals across Marketing, Product Management, Risk and Research. The role involves preparing marketing materials, researching themes, interpreting U.S.

and China data, identifying FX hedging opportunities, and assisting RMs to serve clients effectively. The position requires a Bachelor's degree with internship experience in Financial Markets and knowledge of FX, RMB and hedging instruments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required at the time of hiring.
• Internship experience in Financial Markets preferred.
• Knowledge in FX, RMB, interest rates and other hedging products preferred.
• Bilingual ability in Mandarin and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Marketing and Sales: Prepare marketing materials.
• Marketing and Sales: Generate thematic written business research.
• Marketing and Sales: Interpret high-frequency economic data in the U.S. and China.
• Marketing and Sales: Assist to identify hedging opportunities in FX derivatives and other products.
• Marketing and Sales: Follow up all business needs with RMs to better support their clients.
• Marketing and Sales: Provide support to team in daily routine work.
• Marketing and Sales: Act as back up of designated team.
• Product Management: Participate in the enhancement of product offering to promote business growth.
• Product Management: Assist in the new product development to satisfy client's hedging demand.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Adhere and facilitate legal documents and onboarding process related to traded products.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding anti-money laundering, BSA, OFAC, Dodd-Frank framework, Volcker rule, etc.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Collaborate with Middle Office and Back Office to ensure risk control and facilitate accurate deal booking and timely settlement.
• Research: Perform analysis and participate in assigned research project.
• Research: Monitor, update and facilitate research information for client/ internal presentations.
• Research: Participate in special projects and/or other duties as assigned.
• Research: Conduct assigned reports or research analysis.
• Others: Any ad-hoc work or projects assigned.
