Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, California, seeks a seasoned Financial Management Analyst within the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) to perform FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management across multiple finance functions. The role requires maintaining compliance with FAR, CAS, US GAAP and delivering timely internal and external reporting.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and may require an active DoD Secret

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting including variance analysis and trend identification.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for internal and external customers.

Standard Job Description

As an experienced Financial Management Analyst within the Advanced Development Programs (ADP), required to performs one or more multiple financial activities within various finance job functions (FP&A, Overhead, Program Finance, Accounting, Controller, etc.). Will include some or all of the responsibilities as defined. Performs financial analysis, establishes performance management budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Timely and accurately consolidates financial results (Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, ROIC, Overhead, Discretionary Funding) and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required.

Desired Skills
  • Experience in Systems, Applications Products Software (SAP).
  • Experience in Hyperion/Accounting Data Analysis and Reporting (ADAR).
  • Experience in developing program budgets and Estimates at Completion.
  • Experience in cost/reporting systems similar to CostView, Deltek Cobra or Cost Point.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products with emphasis on Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
