Job summary

Ascot Group is seeking an underwriting workflow specialist to support the Professional Lines desk, including Cyber, Misc. and Lawyers Professional Liability, Healthcare. You will assist underwriters through policy lifecycles, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with offshore teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in insurance, with strong detail orientation and MS Office proficiency. This role emphasizes process improvement and cross-team collaboration within Ascot’s global platforms.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in insurance industry.
• High school diploma, college degree preferred.
• Prior experience with Financial Lines products required.
• Experience with Subscribe, IMS and ODEN Policy Terminator a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow of assigned underwriting products within the Professional Lines (Ascot Pro) business units (i.e. Cyber, Misc. and Lawyers Professional Liability, Healthcare).
• Gain a strong understanding of business processes by leveraging standardized workflows and compliance guidelines.
• Provide support to assigned underwriters throughout the policy lifecycle, including clearance, binders, invoices, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, non-renewals, and reinstatements.
• QA policies to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all work is processed accurately per SLAs.
• Provide ongoing guidance to offshore team as needed.
• Collaborate with offshore team and Ascot Service Center as needed.
• Communicate with underwriters and brokers to secure information for processing.
• Support finance, systems, data, and actuarial teams in ad-hoc tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
