Job summary

Ascot Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an underwriting support specialist for the Professional Lines unit. You will help manage workflow, process policies end-to-end, and support underwriters with filings, renewals, and endorsements.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in insurance, strong MS Office skills, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to work with offshore teams and brokers. On-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow of assigned underwriting products within the Professional Lines (Ascot Pro) units (Cyber, Misc. and Lawyers Professional Liability, Healthcare).
• Support underwriters through policy lifecycle including clearance, binders, invoices, endorsements, cancellations, renewals and reinstatements.
• QA policies to ensure accuracy and ensure SLA adherence.
• Provide guidance to offshore team and collaborate with Ascot Service Center.
• Communicate with underwriters and brokers to obtain required information.
• Assist finance, systems, data, and actuarial teams on ad-hoc tasks.
