Job summary

Alerus is seeking an IT Support and Applications Specialist to help maintain and support the technology and applications used across the company. You will collaborate with IT and business units to deploy, test, document, and sustain critical tools in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, willingness to travel to Alerus locations for training and support, and flexibility to cover backup scheduling and system maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
• Flexibility with schedule for backup coverage, system conversions, updates and maintenance.
• Experience working in the financial services industry preferred.
• Ability to travel to any Alerus Financial location to provide training and/or technical support.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day application maintenance and support.
• Provide standard technical assistance.
• Develop and enhance utilization of assigned business applications.
• Documentation and backup of applications.
