Job summary

Alerus Financial is seeking a Support and Applications Specialist to join the Information Technology team in Minnesota. You will manage day-to-day application maintenance and provide standard technical assistance to colleagues across the company.

You will collaborate with IT and business units to deploy, document, test, and maintain software, with travel to other locations for training and support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
• Flexibility with schedule for backup coverage, system conversions, updates, and maintenance.
• Experience working in the financial services industry, preferred.
• Ability to adapt easily to change within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to any Alerus Financial location to provide training and/or technical support.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day application maintenance and support.
• Provide standard technical assistance.
• Develop and enhance utilization of assigned business applications.
• Documentation and backup of applications.
