The analyst will review customer information, business structures, and transaction activity to ensure compliance with KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC regulations. This position supports customer onboarding, ongoing due diligence, and investigative activities through research and documentation.Key Responsibilities* Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Simplified Due Diligence (SDD), and business onboarding reviews in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.* Analyze member and business information to assess risk and support onboarding and account maintenance decisions.* Review organizational structures, beneficial ownership information, and business activities to ensure completeness and compliance.* Develop and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) to obtain necessary documentation.* Evaluate member responses and supporting evidence to determine if escalation is warranted.* Document review findings, risk assessments, and recommendations in a clear and audit-defensible manner.* Apply risk-based decision-making when evaluating businesses and customer activity profiles.* Monitor work queues and manage reviews within established service level agreements (SLAs).* Collaborate with internal partners to resolve onboarding and risk-related concerns.* Identify trends, process improvement opportunities, and emerging risks.* Support the implementation of new KYC procedures and workflow enhancements.* Maintain current knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, FinCEN guidance, and industry best practices.Required Qualifications* Experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, Financial Crimes, Fraud Operations, Risk Management, Banking Operations, or related functions.* Analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.* Ability to review and interpret complex documentation, ownership structures, and member information.* Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.* Written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.* Ability to exercise sound judgment and make risk-based decisions.* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Preferred Qualifications* Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and Beneficial Ownership requirements.* Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, OFAC sanctions requirements, and financial crimes risk management practices.* Experience conducting onboarding reviews, risk assessments, or periodic reviews.* Experience analyzing personal and business account documentation and legal entity structures.* Experience preparing Requests for Information (RFIs) and resolving documentation deficiencies.* Experience with case management, onboarding, compliance, or financial crimes monitoring systems.* Familiarity with adverse media research, sanctions screening, and risk-based review methodologies.* Relevant certifications such as CAMS, CAFP, CRCM, or ACAMS Certification.Work AuthorizationPlease confirm if you are legally authorized to work in the United States.
