Reviews audit records, transactions, reports, and financial data for licensed mortgage brokers, lenders, and servicers. Analyzes assigned regulatory components as outlined in the Multistate Mortgage Committee (MMC) Exam Rating System. As proficiency is gained, reviews, analyzes, and produces commentary on mortgage licensee compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements; including, but not limited to, anti-money laundering, information security regulations, and credit analysis duties.Essential Job Functions:Performs mortgage broker, mortgage lender, and mortgage servicer examination duties, including financial statement analysis; analysis of earnings, capital, liquidity, asset/liability management; review and analysis of Mortgage Call Reports, internal controls, audit oversight, and policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.Perform and prepare Tier 1 Examination Letters withing timeframes outlined in Department policies.Performs credit analysis duties on examinations.Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments and attends training as scheduled.
