Job summary

Rockland Trust invites motivated interns to join the Financial Education team this summer. You will assist in developing resources, delivering workshops, and supporting outreach efforts that empower individuals and families with practical financial knowledge.

You'll collaborate with professionals across banking, education, and community partners, gaining hands-on experience in program design, outreach, and event coordination while building professional relationships and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in listed fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Interest in financial literacy, community engagement, and education.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, organizing, and delivering financial education workshops and community outreach events.
• Develop educational materials on budgeting, saving, credit, fraud prevention, homeownership, and related topics.
• Create presentations, handouts, and digital financial literacy resources.
• Research financial education trends and community needs; measure outreach impact.
• Track participation and program results; support partnerships with schools and nonprofits.
• Coordinate logistics for events and programs; assist marketing and communications efforts.
