Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions to support enterprise applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and database solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing Oracle-based systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database components with front-end and middleware systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of PL/SQL code to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
• Document database structures, processes, and procedures in compliance with internal standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices in database development.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and database refactoring initiatives.
• Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support project delivery and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-7 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and database-centric application design.
• Strong understanding of relational database design, data modeling, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle Developer tools, Oracle Enterprise Applications, and database integration.
• Familiarity with additional technologies such as Unix/Linux scripting, Java, .NET, or XML is a plus.
• Proficient in using tools like Toad, SQL Developer, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
