Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with the smooth operation of the collection process by reviewing outstanding account work queues daily.
• Make phone calls to request payments or set up payment plans.
• Receive and post payments on accounts.
• Analyze accounts for potential Charity Care eligibility.
• Promote payroll deductions for facility employees.
• Send bad debt accounts to collection agencies per policy.
• Review current patients for potential health program coverage or public assistance.
• Monitor deceased patient accounts and file probate when applicable.
• Process small balance write-offs regularly.
• Back-up daily cash receipts reconciliation.
• Back-up for receptionist duties.

What you’ll get to do in this role:

Assists with the smooth operation of the collection process per policy by reviewing outstanding account WQs on a daily basis.
