Job summary

GreenPath Financial Wellness is seeking a remote Financial Counselor to provide compassionate, phone-based counseling to clients nationwide. This full-time role features evening shifts (Eastern Time) and a strong emphasis on confidentiality and service quality.

You will create personalized action plans, assist with housing-related counseling, and progress toward HUD and NFCC certifications during training.

Qualifications

  • Compensation: $20.35–$23.00 per hour based on location and bilingual incentives
  • Full-time availability: 40 hours per week with evening shifts ET
  • Willingness to obtain HUD and NFCC certifications during training
  • Typing speed at least 40 words per minute with 80% accuracy
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver phone-based financial counseling services.
  • Respond to inbound calls, client emails, and conduct outbound service-related calls.
  • Review client financial information, including credit reports.
  • Develop individualized action plans and educational resources.
  • Provide housing-related counseling (pre-purchase to reverse mortgage).
