Our client is a successful manufacturer of consumer goods with a global operation. The role is located in the Manufacturing team at their site near Richmond and is an on‑site position. The financial controller will:

• Lead the plant‑level finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly closing.
• Monitor and analyse monthly operating results against budgets, including overall manufacturing activity.
• Ensure company results are properly stated in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Partner with department managers to develop business plans.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; CPA desirable.
• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare forecasts.
• Over 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and costing principles.
• Ideally SAP or a similar ERP experience.

The company offers a base salary in the $100,000 to $120,000 range, depending on experience, plus a 401(k) with a 4.5% company match and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
