Description: An excellent opportunity for an experienced motor retail Financial Manager with an established, rapidly expanding business offering an immediate challenge and strong potential for career progression. Due to its growth, the Group is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to strengthen its existing finance team. This role reports into the Group Financial Controller/Finance Director and closely with other senior management.

The role will primarily be responsible for contributing to the financial operation and the overall timeliness of group reporting for several Dealerships within the M25. Other tasks will include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Contributing to the day to day financial control and the preparation of monthly accounts for consolidation, as well as the annual audit.
• Responsibility for the management of the balance sheet and working capital including cash collection and forecasting.
• Providing financial support and guidance to senior management members and other colleagues, as required and Ad hoc projects.

You will be an experienced motor retail accounting professional able to demonstrate progression and achievement in their career to date. Demonstrate strong technical competency in the delivery and development of monthly and year end reporting. Strong commercial acumen capable of understanding the business, its objectives and how the finance function can support the business in meeting targets. Excellent experience in cash management and forecasting. Experience with DMS systems and their development would be advantageous.

The position will involve regular travel around the branch network so a full driving licence is essential. Areas include Hertfordshire and North of M25. Company car and other benefits are in addition to the basic salary.
