Job summary

Xapo Bank, a Bitcoin-first, regulated credit institution, offers a fully remote Controller role reporting to senior leadership. You will consolidate and sign off multi-entity financials, manage month-end and year-end closes, and ensure robust regulatory reporting across global entities.

Ideal candidates hold ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with 5+ years leading accounting, deep IFRS/FRS 102 knowledge, crypto accounting experience, NetSuite proficiency, and comfort with AI-driven automation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years as a Controller leading an accounting function.
• Strong IFRS and FRS 102 knowledge; crypto accounting experience.
• Experience with consolidation, intercompany eliminations, multi-entity close.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable with AI automations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS and FRS 102.
• Run month-end and year-end close for multi-entity group.
• Lead regulatory reporting to GFSC and FCA; prudential returns on capital and liquidity.

Job description

• Prepare consolidated and entity financial statements under IFRS and FRS 102, from first draft to sign-off.
• Run month-end and year-end close for a multi-entity group, including consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
• Lead regulatory reporting to the GFSC and FCA, including prudential returns on capital and liquidity.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years as a Controller leading an accounting function.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102, plus experience with crypto asset accounting and blockchain reconciliations.
• NetSuite proficiency, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, and comfort working alongside AI-driven automations.
