Financial Controller/Business Analyst: Remote
  • Full-time
  • Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services across various industries. It is a global leader in food, environment, pharmaceutical testing, and agroscience CRO services, with expertise in genomics, pharmacology, forensics, and clinical diagnostics.

The company offers a wide range of analytical methods to ensure safety, authenticity, and quality of biological substances and products, and is a key player in clinical diagnostic testing.

    Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and present analyses of financial results and business activities, including client program outcomes.
  2. Assist in developing the annual budget and operating plan.
  3. Maintain databases of key operational, financial, and client metrics.
  4. Support transaction processing for business operations, managing relevant staff.
  5. Uphold confidentiality and impartiality, adhering to company procedures.
  6. Apply good practices in all responsibilities.
  7. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  8. Promote the company's vision.
  9. Conduct activities safely and efficiently.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

  1. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
  2. Proficiency with analysis methods and tools such as Excel and basic databases.
  3. Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and management principles.
  4. Experience in customer service principles and processes.
  5. HS Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  6. Experience in accounting/finance and KPI management.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface at all levels.
  8. Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  9. Strategic thinker, self-motivated, and independent worker.
  10. Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  11. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  12. Authorization to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.
