Base pay range

Executive Director, Accounting & Finance Recruitment - Asset & Wealth Management

The role of the Financial Controller will be to manage all of the Firm’s corporate accounting activities and internal/external reporting requirements. Given the dynamic business environment, the candidate must be an adept thinker, self-starter, and someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves to thrive given the lean/efficient staffing structure. This candidate will report directly to the COO and CEO, covering a variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading all aspects of the Firm’s corporate accounting functions for various private equity fund vehicles and separate managed accounts

• Monitoring the performance of the Fund and the Fund’s management company, including preparation of budget, forecasts, and cash flows

• Assistance in establishing and sustaining maintenance of financial policies, internal procedures, and best practices

• Additional ad-hoc projects, such as working with the partners on specific “deal” analysis, due diligence and financial modeling of prospective portfolio companies as well as monitoring of portfolio company financial performance

• Working closely with the Fund’s Administrator to maintain database and process all capital calls and distributions

• Responsible for interfacing with external auditor and managing the annual year-end audit process

• Overseeing all tax and SEC regulatory compliance

• Liaising and developing relationships with all outside vendors including accounting, fund administrator, legal, insurance, and other service providers to accomplish all required projects

Requirements

• 9-14 year combo candidate coming from a PE fund doing a mix of fund accounting and management company accounting

• Bachelor's degree required
