Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Prior experience in a subscription-based business model is required.
• Experience in small, entrepreneurial companies with a hands-on approach.
• Proven success leading ERP or system implementations.
• Strong knowledge of sales tax compliance and tax oversight.
• Leadership experience with ability to build and mentor teams.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and GL management.
• Ensure compliance with sales tax and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage accounting processes and internal controls.
• Lead financial systems and process improvement initiatives, including system implementations and upgrades.
• Partner with leadership to support growth, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers.
• Build and develop the accounting team as the company grows.
