Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Controller to provide executive oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes, partnering with the Global Controller on consolidated reporting and executive decks.

The role requires a CPA and 10+ years of global accounting experience, with leadership of geographically dispersed teams and deep expertise in consolidation, statutory reporting, and audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including global or multi-entity environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with direct people management and oversight of geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Global Controller in reviewing key financial outputs including consolidated reporting, balance sheet reviews, and executive decks.
  • Establish and uphold consistent accounting policies and documentation standards.
  • Provide oversight and escalation support to ensure alignment between global accounting policies and Shared Services execution.
  • Partner with Division and market finance teams to resolve complex accounting issues and drive alignment on accounting treatment and reporting expectations.
  • Provide governance over statutory reporting, external audits, and regulatory compliance activities, ensuring risks are proactively identified and managed.
  • Provide direct leadership, performance management, and development for two Associate Manager-level direct reports responsible for accounting for Division Headquarters, quarterly reporting and consolidations, and the corresponding executive deliverables.
  • Ensure effective coordination across global teams, including Shared Services, third-party providers, and international finance partners.
