Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Corporate Controller to lead global accounting operations, ensuring accurate close, consolidation, and reporting. You will partner with External Reporting on SEC filings and drive process improvements across Finance, IT, and key stakeholders.

The role oversees the monthly close, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, and engagement with external auditors. CPA or public accounting experience is strongly preferred for this high-impact position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting or finance experience (7+ years with Masters).
• 3+ years leading and managing direct and/or global teams.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global teams supporting close, consolidation, and reporting activities.
• Oversee the monthly financial close and ensure overall health and performance through defined KPIs.
• Manage the consolidation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Drive execution of quarterly management reporting (balance sheet and cash flow focus).
• Partner closely with External Reporting on SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K).
• Coordinate enterprise-wide close processes, ensuring strong accountability across Finance.
• Act as liaison with IT, assessing system impacts on close and coordinating communication of issues.
• Drive process improvements and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate across key stakeholders including Corporate Planning, Revenue, Treasury Accounting, Tax, and others.
• Support engagement with external auditors on disclosures and accounting matters.
• Partner with Investor Relations and CFO Office during quarterly close cycles.
• Benchmark and implement best-in-class close and reporting practices.
