Qualifications

• Strong experience with acquisition accounting, purchase price allocations, and business combinations.
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and multi-currency accounting operations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Consolidations & Compliance: Review regional financial statements and multi-entity consolidations in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals while supporting operational excellence across the finance function
• Technical Accounting: Resolve complex accounting matters related to revenue recognition, intercompany activity, allocations, leases, and fixed assets
• Process Improvement & Automation: Partner with FP&A, Finance Systems, and senior leadership to improve reporting accuracy, streamline workflows, and reduce manual processes
• Audit & External Relationships: Serve as key liaison with external auditors and support annual audits and regulatory requirements
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives across global operations
• Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to broader finance transformation projects and support special initiatives for executive leadership and the CFO

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred, MST a plus
• Experience: 8–12 years of corporate accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry experience, ideally within a global private equity-backed organization
• M&A Expertise: Strong experience with acquisition accounting, purchase price allocations, post-close integration, and business combinations
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and multi-currency accounting operations
• Systems: Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
• Industry Exposure: Background within advertising, media, communications, or professional services industries is a plus
• Attributes: Highly analytical and detail-oriented with strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities
