Job summary

The Legislative Audit Division (LAD) in Montana's Legislative Branch is seeking a Financial Compliance Associate Auditor to join a team auditing state agencies and programs. You will interview agency personnel, test controls and account balances, and use analytics to evaluate transaction cycles.

Based in Helena with potential telework up to half-time, the role offers a starting salary of $68,080, plus health, retirement, and extensive paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree by start of employment
• 6 semester hours (or equivalent quarter hours) of relevant upper division accounting coursework, including intermediate accounting courses
