Overview

Fidelity Bank/NOLA Lending Group is seeking a Financial Center Representative in Baton Rouge, LA. The role is responsible for performing as both a Banker and Teller, delivering exceptional client service, ensuring operational and audit excellence, and making appropriate referrals. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay.

Position Summary

The Financial Center Representative is responsible for performing as both a Banker and Teller in providing exceptional client service, operational and audit excellence, while making appropriate referrals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform teller transactions
  • Balance, locate and reconcile discrepancies in cash drawer, including end-of-day balancing procedures and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor
  • Balance, locate, and reconcile vault and ATM transactions as well as incoming and outgoing money shipments
  • Open new accounts and handle client maintenance requests
  • Contribute to the financial center’s success by achieving assigned referral goals
  • Engage in consultative conversations with clients to build relationships, cross-sell, and promote Fidelity’s products and services
  • Report to a supervisor for approvals when assistance is needed with transactions
  • Provide customer assistance related to banking needs both in-person and over the phone
  • Assist supervisor with maintaining accurate reports
  • Report discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary
  • Assist in maintaining branch appearance standards
  • Assist with mentoring associates
  • Adhere to all bank policies and procedures

  • Comply with regulatory rules and regulations evidenced through training and ability
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as appointed by management
  • Physical Requirements: primarily sitting with some standing, walking, lifting and bending
