Fidelity Bank is seeking a Financial Center Representative in the New Orleans, LA area. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday dayshift with paid holidays and an ESOP program, plus opportunities for advancement within the bank.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions
• Balance, locate, and reconcile discrepancies in cash drawer and end-of-day balancing
• Open new accounts and handle client maintenance requests
• Engage in consultative conversations to build relationships and cross-sell Fidelity products
• Provide customer assistance in-person and by phone
• Meet referral goals for the branch
• Assist with vault and ATM balancing and money shipments
• Mentor associates and support supervisors with transactions
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures and maintain branch appearance
• Demonstrate Fidelity core values and regulatory compliance
• Support special projects as needed
• Physical duties include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and bending

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Performs teller transactions
• Balances, locates, and reconciles discrepancies in cash drawer as well as end of day balancing procedures
• Opens new accounts and handles client maintenance requests
• Engages in consultative conversations with clients to build relationships, cross-sell, and promote Fidelity’s products and services
• Provides customer assistance related to banking needs of customers both in-person and over the phone
• Contributes to the financial center’s success by achieving assigned referral goals
• Assists with balancing, locating and reconciling vault and ATM transaction as well as incoming and outgoing money shipments
• Assists with mentoring associates
• Reports to a supervisor for approvals when assistance is needed with transactions
• Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary
• Assists supervisor with maintaining accurate reports
• Assists in maintaining branch appearance standards
• Adheres to all bank policies and procedures

• Complies with regulatory rules and regulations evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability
