GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Financial Center Manager will participate in a comprehensive, customized onboarding and education program. This includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred, and Sales & Operations Management. The role provides a robust learning approach to prepare candidates for a Financial Center Manager position. Upon successful completion of the training program, the FCMA will be placed in a Financial Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete the FCMA roadmap and all onboarding activities from day one to program completion, including a Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
• Deepen Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by providing excellent customer experiences.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of Fifth Third's products, services, processes, and resources to effectively guide and lead the team.
• Develop proficiency in the consultative sales process to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop an integrated book of business strategy ensuring all customers have a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are assigned to the appropriate banker for ongoing support.
• Learn to source, develop, coach, and lead a team that embodies our Core Values and business strategies.
• Foster a One Bank culture through proactive collaboration with business partners.
• Participate in community service activities.
• Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, modeling ethical behavior.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in providing timely, candid, and constructive feedback to employees; support employee development; recognize and reward accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• College degree or two or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills to represent Fifth Third Bank.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Proficiency in executing and coaching sales activities.
• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to make sound decisions.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Standard office environment.
• Extended periods viewing computer screens.
• Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.
