A leading company in retail is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and team. You will drive sales growth, develop talent, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience while collaborating with management. About the Role
You set the tone for the store and the team, helping to bring our brand to life for our customers. Your responsibilities include driving profitable sales growth across all store aspects, such as customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You support the execution of the store strategy to meet performance goals. Collaborating with your General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager, you will teach and coach behaviors to Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates to cultivate a high-performing team that delivers a best-in-class customer experience.
Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
Recruit, hire, and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
Own your assigned area of responsibility.
Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
Perform Service Leader duties.
Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
Promote community involvement.
Leverage omni-channel strategies to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
Ensure all compliance standards are met.
A current or former retail employee with 1-3 years of retail management experience.
A high school graduate or equivalent.
A good communicator who can effectively interact with customers and your team to meet goals.
Passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Driven by metrics to deliver results and meet business goals.
Determined to lead and inspire others through coaching and mentoring.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Proficient in utilizing retail technology.
Capable of maneuvering around the sales floor, stockroom, and office, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Willing to travel as required.
