RTX BBN Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of RTX, is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Analytics and Machine Intelligence (AMI) Business Unit. The BBN finance team is composed of skilled professionals who work collaboratively across the organization to drive smart decision-making and deliver consistent results.

In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams and provide financial leadership to ensure the successful execution and growth of AMI programs. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer of RTX BBN Technologies

What you will do:

  • Serve as a strategic financial partner to the AMI Business Unit Lead, program managers, and functional teams to support program execution and growth of AMI programs.
  • Provide financial leadership and oversight for RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) gate activities, quarterly estimate at complete (EACs), workforce planning, and program controls.
  • Support startup and execution of various Cost-type, Fixed Price, and T&M contracts.
  • Manage AMI financial planning processes, including monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, and five-year strategic plans.
  • Lead estimating and pricing activities and support all proposal development and capture activities.
  • Support the development of Contract Funds Requests (CFRs) and Appropriation Requests (ARs.)
  • Ensure compliance with RTX financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Lead and develop a team of program control analysts.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with 8+ years of exp or MS with 5+ years of exp
  • Proven experience in P&L management, program controls, and financial planning.
  • Strong forecasting skills and financial modeling experience.
  • Ability to interpret, apply, and provide financial leadership on RTX Policies and Procedures
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • US citizenship

Qualifications We Prefer - Familiar with all, Expert in some

  • Working knowledge ofEVMS
  • Advanced degree in related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to apply for US government security clearance
  • Prior experience working in a government contracting environment.
  • Finance experience with Research and Development projects.
  • Working Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) knowledge

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
