Associate’s Degree; four to six years of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to be bonded.
Knowledge of municipal finance practices and procedures and office procedures. Comprehension of database, spreadsheet, word processing, and finance software. Knowledge of the basic principles of payroll.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain records and prepare reports. Ability to work effectively under time constraints to meet deadlines.
Skill and accuracy in working with numbers and detail. Excellent administrative, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
The employee operates a personal computer and standard office equipment (e.g., telephone, copier, facsimile).
