Maxim Crane is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization.

The analyst will partner with Finance and operational leaders to analyze results, develop forecasts, and provide timely insights to improve business performance. This on-site role in Wilder, KY requires strong Excel and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting process from planning through management and Board approval.
• Build and maintain budget and forecast templates for business leaders.
• Prepare short-term forecasts using relevant industry, operations, and financial drivers.
• Perform monthly variance analysis of actual results vs. budget and forecast; communicate key drivers, risks, and actions.
• Develop business cases and ad-hoc financial analyses for operating and capital decisions.
• Participate in long-range planning including fleet plans and five-year projections.
• Assist in developing monthly backlog reporting and related analysis.
• Create clear reports and dashboards to help managers evaluate performance against benchmarks.
• Analyze large data sets from GL, CRM, and Excel to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collect, validate, and organize financial and operational data for models and analyses.
• Maintain organized workpapers and meet reporting deadlines.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business management; strong project orientation, forecasting, budgeting and analytical skills; strong knowledge of Excel; excellent communication and organizational skills.
