Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a skilled financial software analyst to oversee development, maintenance, and debugging of centralized financial tools for Navy ERP-related tasks. The role emphasizes accurate reporting, compliant workflows, and ad-hoc analyses to support DoD programs.

Candidates will optimize data quality, metadata tracking, and financial configuration management while collaborating across teams to deliver robust, auditable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Data Science, STEM, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with financial analysis.
• Onsite work up to full-time as required by the client.
• Experience with Python or equivalent and strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Navy ERP systems and N-ERP workflows.
• Active DoD Security Clearance – Secret or higher.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, refinement, maintenance, and debugging of financial software tools centralizing program financial data and trends.
• Ensure seamless Navy ERP integration, compliance, and efficient workflows aligned with NFPC objectives.
• Track, review, and refine processes and deliverables for accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and develop new tools to meet stakeholder needs.
• Support metadata tracking systems and financial configuration management processes.
