Red Bull North America, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst – Supply Chain Finance in Santa Monica, CA to oversee warehousing costs and support Month End Close by managing warehousing accruals and reporting.
You will partner with 3PL and Red Bull-owned warehouses to optimize cost and reporting. The role emphasizes forecasting, variance analysis, and process improvements, with responsibilities across cost management, business partnerships, and compliance.
As the Financial Analyst – Supply Chain Finance, you will oversee and improve the operational activities within warehousing, including Third-Party Logistics (3PL) warehouses and Red Bull-owned warehouses by supporting cost planning, tracking, and reporting across key drivers. You will additionally support Month End Close activities through owning the warehousing accruals process and preparing relevant reporting and review materials. You will report to the Manager, Supply Chain Finance, and be located in Santa Monica, California.
Evaluate and validate forecasts with budget owners; provide bridges and commentary explaining changes vs. prior period and plan. Monitor Stock on Hand (SOH) levels and changes in volume to identify patterns. Analyze measurements for success related to warehousing by identifying key cost-controlling areas and establish metrics and performance indicators to evaluate these areas. Lead the input and maintenance of warehouse planning data in financial systems; ensure data integrity and compliance.
Build trusted partnerships with budget owners as a strategic finance advisor; challenge assumptions and drive data‑backed decisions. Provide insights to meet budget objectives; identify risks and opportunities; run scenario modeling for new initiatives (e.g., contract changes, rate cards, timing). Develop a deep understanding of warehouse operations and external service provider contract terms to inform guidance and analysis.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement lean methodologies to increase efficiency. Conduct regular data analysis to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within warehousing. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement process enhancements and monitor their effectiveness.
Analyze and review 3PL warehouse invoices for accuracy and identify any discrepancies to follow up with external partners. Coordinate the monthly warehouse accrual process with relevant budget owners to ensure all relevant expenses are correctly captured. Support COGS and Indirect Cost close activities as needed, provide analysis on variances to plan or investigate balances.
Partner on local and global initiatives to improve cost controlling while balancing control, transparency, and efficiency. Ensure compliance with controlling guidelines by developing tools and resources, engaging business partners, and conducting training sessions.
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $67,200 - 100,800 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
