Job summary

GLS is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team, supporting monthly financial reporting, variance analyses, and forecasting activities. You will build and refine financial models, analyze loan performance, and prepare materials for senior leadership and the Board.

The role emphasizes collaboration with accounting and finance teams, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery in a dynamic, fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required.
• Proficiency in Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive monthly financial report and variance analysis.
• Maintain and improve the monthly reporting; add analyses as needed.
• Analyze forecasted loan returns via vintage economics analyses.
• Assist in monthly/defaults and recoveries reporting for leadership.
• Maintain Board-facing monthly financials deck for directors.
• Create other artifacts to enhance financial reporting.
• Review external financial reports for accuracy.
• Support accounting in gain-on-sale and provision calculations.
