Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join our team on-site in San Diego, CA or Palmdale, CA, supporting the Air Dominance Division. The role requires a Secret clearance and involves financial reporting, planning, and program analysis across multiple leadership levels.

The position emphasizes collaboration with business management, SOX compliance, and development of strategic financial plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related field.
• Master’s degree.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher (with background investigation within last 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period per company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting and Planning processes, including forecasting, reporting and profitability analysis.
• Supports development of LRSP and Annual Operating Plans.
• Collaborates with business management to improve financial performance based on metrics.
• Manages program financials including forecasting, reporting, profitability and working capital analysis.
• Supports invoicing, collections, and SOX compliance documentation.
• Coordinates with teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance.
• Prepares and briefs presentations for Program/Division leadership.
• Supports ad hoc requests from leadership.
• Interfacing with program, business, and corporate personnel.
