Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Financial Analyst – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our finance team. The role focuses on strategic planning, analysis of key metrics, and support for budgets and forecasts. This is an onsite position with Top-Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.

The ideal candidate will have a degree plus experience with MS Excel and financial reporting tools; experience in aerospace/defense is a plus. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of related professional experience
• Will consider additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
• Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret or SCI security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
• High proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning, reporting, and analysis of key financial metrics (Sales, Margin, Cash, Awards) for the I&S BU.
• Includes quarterly Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessment, cash flow/balance sheet management, risk and opportunity assessment
• Support monthly and quarterly financial deliverables and analysis
• Support development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) through collaboration with Business and Program Management
• Perform ad-hoc exercises for financial impact/profitability analysis
• Collaborative work style: ability to interface with different functions and levels of leadership both within and outside of the BU
• Operate in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, while maintaining attention to detail
• Other duties as assigned
