Job summary

Woodgrain Towanda is seeking a Financial Analyst to translate financial and operational data into actionable insights, support cost reduction, and aid strategic decisions for the facility.

The role develops models, conducts variance analysis, prepares forecasts and budgets, and collaborates with management to drive performance. You will work in an office environment with limited travel to the manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business management with an accounting minor.
• Experience: two years accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with SAP or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts monthly or weekly.
• Close books monthly with standard journal entries and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records in SAP/IFS.
• Review financial statements and resolve discrepancies with analyses.
• Lead department training and coordinate clerical staff in accounting tasks.
