Job summary

CJ Schwan’s in Minnesota is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis for the retail CPG business. You’ll partner across teams to drive planning, performance improvements and informed decisions.

The base salary ranges from $75,000 to $125,000 annually with a 10% incentive. We offer comprehensive Total Rewards including health benefits, retirement options, time-off programs and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in retail CPG.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP, SQL, BEx or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the retail CPG business.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, including profitability, expenses, costs, and key business drivers.
• Support timely budget, forecast, and monthly reporting processes.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive business planning, decision-making, and performance improvements.
• Develop financial models and perform ROI, pricing, costing, capital investment, and risk-benefit analyses.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Manage monthly allocations across business units.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
