A leading company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work remotely. The candidate will be responsible for financial reporting and analyses, collaborating with various teams, and providing insights to drive business decisions. This role requires extensive financial modeling skills and the ability to work independently under pressure. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree and have over five years of experience in finance or accounting.

Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for completing financial reporting and analyses in support of business objectives. He/she performs various financial planning and analysis tasks, including management reporting and analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, capital planning, and special projects. He/she interacts with all levels of the organization and provides decision-making support and recommendations to management.
Essential Duties:
1. Develop and maintain routine and ad-hoc reports to management that provide visibility to financial results and trends. Analyzes financial results, comparing actual and year-to-date performance with prior periods, forecasts, and plans. Prepares material for monthly business reviews to senior leadership.
2. Independently construct moderate to complex financial models to analyze the impact of current and proposed company initiatives. Analyze, assess and report the overall impact of initiatives and how well they meet organizational and functional unit goals and strategies.
3. Lead the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for assigned functional unit(s). Develop and maintain forecast and budget templates. Supports the identification and prioritization of capital asset requests.
4. Interact with, and provide, broad analytical and business support to assigned functional unit(s). Prepare reporting and analysis of financial results related to business and financial objectives. Frequently consults with members of the functional unit to gain information and insight, and influence results that maximize company profitability.
5. Drive continuous process improvements and best practices across the finance team and broader organization to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of reporting and planning processes. Maximize productivity by automating reports, utilizing financial systems and processes as appropriate.
Skills / Qualification / Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Statistics/Economics/Business from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years or relevant, progressive experience in Finance and/or Accounting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills: Ability to interact with and present financial analysis to all levels of management, ability to influence and persuade, great presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team
• Strong relationship building skills and the ability to think strategically and act proactively to build trust and confidence with stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a consistently evolving and everchanging environment
• Independently conceive and construct financial models, identifying and analyzing business trends
• Able to independently support Supply Chain and Sales/Trade Teams as a senior FP&A partner (including product cost and freight analysis, Sales variances, etc.).
• Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
• Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data, perform reconciliations and summarize information for management review
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced level Excel skills. Basic knowledge of NetSuite preferred
