Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to Senior Financial Management, Group Logistics Managers, and Logistics Managers.
Essential Functions
- Analyze unbilled items for license and sales tax prepaid items over customer contract amount.
- Process Accounts Payable for licensing, lawyer fees, broker fees, toll vendor refunds, etc.
- Reconcile and interpret business functions of license, tax, and prepaid fees, including amortization schedules; liaise with Financial Reporting & HQ Finance.
- Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies, procedures, and tools.
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and accurate financial projections.
- Coordinate with Ryder's Shared Services, Corporate Accounting, and Tax Departments.
- Make accounting decisions on projects, system enhancements, and analytics; maintain controls and assist audits.
- Support upper management with special projects, process improvements, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage month-end closing activities, including journal entries, variance explanations, and ledger research.
- Identify revenue, cost, and productivity opportunities in operational initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting, including performance trending, cost analysis, and reconciliation.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years in finance, accounting, or operations.
Additional Details
- Travel: 10-20%
- Position Type: Salaried, full-time
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
