TMEIC is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial, tax and business analysis across multiple entities and currencies in a global setting. You will manage monthly closings, project cost accounting, and intercompany profitability analysis to support management decisions.

The role requires solid ERP experience, strong Excel skills, and ability to travel less than 5%. A BS inAccounting/Finance with several years of experience is expected.

Formación

• BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
• 3 years' financial analysis experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform accurate and timely completion of the monthly and annual financial closing processes for the areas assigned.
• Perform month-end closing of the projects, purchasing, and inventory modules.
• Perform variance analysis of and account reconciliation for assigned General Ledger (GL).
• Validate the accuracy of project cost accounting and provide analysis on contribution margin to the assigned business units.
• Analyze sales and COS elements for projects and request appropriate adjustments from business unit personnel.
• Analyze and ensure accuracy of intercompany sales and contribution margin split among Company entities for multi-entity profitability management.
• Consolidate monthly results.
• Ensure accurate and timely closing of projects, project accruals, and unbilled accounts receivable.
• Generate data and reports for the monthly management reporting package, as assigned.
• Perform analysis of and account reconciliation for high volume/value GL accounts.
• Perform variance analysis for major expense accounts.
• Review project accruals and request appropriate adjustments from BU personnel.
• Review warranty and concession reserves/costs and report major variances to the immediate manager.
• Monitor financial and tax policies of foreign branches/subsidiaries and report impact to management.
• Close projects, in coordination with relevant BU personnel.
• Assign project labor rates.

Role Accountabilities

• Perform accurate and timely completion of the monthly and annual financial closing processes for the areas assigned
• Perform month-end closing of the projects, purchasing, and inventory modules
• Perform variance analysis of and account reconciliation for assigned General Ledger (GL), taking corrective action, as necessary, to adjust the GL based on the analysis
• Validate the accuracy of project cost accounting and provide analysis on contribution margin (CM) to the assigned business units

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation and regulatory guidelines and their impact on business processes
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial aspects of foreign affiliates and related accounting processes
• Experience in a business which measures results principally by project and by levels of overall support costs
• Proficiency in financial module of Oracle ERP system
• Demonstrated project costing experience
• International operations experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of foreign and US taxes with regard to business operations
• Experience in a business with foreign ownership, preferably Japanese
• CPA or CMA
