Job summary

Dynamic Map Platform North America, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to bridge sales, operations, and program teams, with responsibilities across monthly close and forecasting.

You will manage budgets, perform variance analysis, and prepare journal entries; experience with Netsuite/Oracle is a plus.

This role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence non-financial partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Business or related field.
• High Proficiency in Excel; PowerPoint and other software proficiency also required.
• Experience with Netsuite or Oracle systems a plus.
• Ability to learn new systems and continuously improve
• Detail and results oriented
• Ability to lead and influence non-finance business partners
• Experience creating journal entries and other accounting functions i.e. AP, AR and PO creation and management
• Ability to create a budget, and perform routine actual vs budget analysis, explaining variances to business unit leaders
• Ability to perform financial analysis with minimal direct supervision
• Working knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, and direct and cash flow reporting

The Financial Analyst will interface between sales, operations, program teams. Will also have key responsibilities in the accounting monthly close cycle and the monthly forecast updates.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, track, and report on performance to department budgets
• Support internal and external audits as required
• Create and share analysis with team to help team improve performance to targets
• Create Journal Entries as needed to complete monthly accounting close

Assets

• 7+ years of professional work experience
• Experience working within a Finance team of a small-medium sized organization and/or providing financial support to a business unit on an ongoing basis
• Previous experience with revenue recognition and/or consolidations is considered an asset
• Prior experience and exposure to budgeting and forecasting within a corporate environment
• Fluency in Japanese a plus, but not required

Work Environment

• Works in a fast-paced office environment with multiple priorities and competing demands.
• Regular office hours with some requirements for additional work during busy times.
