Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Financial Analyst Payroll Processor in San Jose, CA to handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain accurate records. The role requires experience with UKG, SAP, Kronos, and strong Excel skills within a manufacturing or large corporate environment.

Qualifications

Description: Title: Financial Analyst Payroll Processor Location: San Jose, CA 95116 Duration: 0 - 6+ months Shift: M-F, 7AM - 3: 30 PM Pay Rate: $45.40/Hour

Responsibilities

• Process the payroll accurately, correctly and on time –done by daily validations, crewsheet entry and approval.
• Balance payroll register to TAS, Kronos Time and Attendance system or other payroll systems.
• Generate accurate payroll reports using payroll systems.
• Maintain TAS or Kronos Time and Attendance system (or other systems) and any upgrades and enhancements to ensure correct reporting of hours being paid.
• Respond to/resolve hourly payroll issues.
• May also respond to/resolve salary payroll issues.
• Ensure adequate back-up is available for payroll duties.
• Audit Controls –trace the payroll process for any employee.
• Generate reports as needed for regulatory purposes.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Interact effectively with others and resolve conflict.
• May process grievance payments as requested by HR Personnel.
• Assist with Production Execution work as needed.
• May reconcile P card usage.
• May remedy "blocked invoices"and GRIR issues.
• Prepares and enters data for monthly financial close, checking for accuracy and completeness.
• Pulls standard reports and shares them with finance and business teams as needed.
• Updates trackers and spreadsheets for key financial and operational metrics.
• Assists with basic data validation and flags discrepancies to the appropriate team.
• May calculate pension payments for current employee and calculate payments for employee health insurance for both active and retired employees.
• Ensure adherence to all standard work processes, including K-LEAN processes.
• Responsible for compliance with all regulations.
• Food Safety –plant in proper sanitary condition at all times, including allergen control, pest control, guidelines followed.
• Compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for MCRSsustainability: Ensure achievement of all area / shift KPIs;ensure adherence to and continuous improvement of all area / shift MCRSelements.
• Responsible for supporting the execution of relevant projects within assigned area / shift.
• Responsible for supporting talent management process for hourly employees.
• Ensure Diversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards.
• Proactively engage in the development and training of hourly labor and support such plans developed by plant leadership.
• Maintain understanding of processes and functional interdependencies.
• Recognize and escalation, as needed, those issues identified as risks to, or opportunities to improve, plant performance.

Candidate Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with a collective bargaining agreement required.
• Experience with UKG, SAP, strong excel skills, and some level of manual payroll processes within a manufacturing plant or comparable work location.
• Time management skills required.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products required.
• 1-3 years of payroll experience in a large corporation.
• Experience with WFM, UKG, Kronos, etc.

Candidate Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
• Extensive experience with interpersonal relations and advanced interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
• Experience working in a fast pace, multitasking environment preferred.
• Strong ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills very desirable.
