**Job Description:**

This position involves budgeting, strategic planning, variance analysis, patient accounts, operations data, and ad-hoc analysis to ensure sound financial operations. It supports financial planning and analytical solutions such as forecasts, reports, dashboards, and tools for leadership and stakeholders across the organization, aiding business or clinical initiatives. The role includes developing, analyzing, and interpreting routine to minimally complex data sources to support process improvement, operations, strategy, and cost reduction. Duties are performed under initial supervision, progressing to routine tasks with general review after training.

**This is a 100% remote position**. Currently, candidates from the following states are not eligible: California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, and Washington.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Provide support and analysis for budgeting, strategic planning, variance reporting, and ad-hoc processes for a facility, region, division, or system-wide team.
2. Assist in completing routine tasks related to operating and capital budgets, strategic planning, patient accounts, and operations, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
3. Prepare routine to minimally complex financial analyses, variance reports, and ad hoc reports, collaborating with internal customers to develop quantitative reports analyzing clinical and operational issues.
4. Participate in system-wide processes or improvement projects under supervision.

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field from an accredited institution (education verified).
• Entry-level role; no professional experience required, but one year of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics is preferred.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, and scheduling applications is preferred.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are preferred.
• Two years of professional experience in financial analysis is preferred; a Master’s degree with less than two years of experience is also preferred.
• Experience in project management, accuracy, and decision-making with limited supervision is preferred.
• Knowledge of Intermountain Healthcare finances is preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to see, read, and assess information, documents, and equipment.
• Effective verbal communication with colleagues, patients, and visitors.
• Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and computer use.
• For roles requiring driving, ability to operate a vehicle safely.

**Location:** Key Bank Tower, Salt Lake City, Utah

**Work Hours:** 40 hours/week

**Hourly Range:** $32.77 - $51.61, dependent on experience
