**Job Description:**

This position involves budgeting, strategic planning, variance analysis, patient accounts, and operational data analysis. The role supports financial operations and develops analytical solutions such as forecasts, reports, dashboards, and tools for leadership and stakeholders across the organization, aiding in business or clinical initiatives. It provides support in analyzing and interpreting routine to minimally complex data sources to enhance processes, operations, strategy, and cost reduction. The duties are performed under initial supervision, progressing to routine tasks with general review after training.

**This is a 100% remote position**; however, candidates from the following states are not considered: California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, and Washington.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing support and analysis for budgeting, strategic planning, variance reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for specific facilities, regions, divisions, or system-wide teams.
2. Completing defined tasks related to operational and capital budgets, strategic planning, patient accounts, and operations, with supervision on non-routine tasks. Ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned duties.
3. Preparing routine to minimally complex financial analyses, variance reports, and ad hoc reports, collaborating with internal customers to develop reports analyzing clinical and operational issues.
4. Participating in system-wide processes or improvement projects under supervision.

**Financial Analyst I Pay Range:** $29.66 - $46.72

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field from an accredited institution. Education verified.
• Entry-level role; no professional experience required.
• Preferred: One year of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics conducting routine financial analysis.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, and scheduling applications preferred.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred.

**Financial Analyst II Pay Range:** $32.77 - $51.61

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution. Education verified.
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Experience with office applications preferred.
• Two years of professional experience in financial analysis preferred.
• Master’s degree with less than two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in project management, high accuracy, and sound decision-making preferred.
• Knowledge of Intermountain Healthcare finances and processes preferred.
• Experience with budgeting and finance tracking preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Visual and manual dexterity for reading, computer use, and manipulating equipment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and hear accurately during interactions.
• Driving responsibilities include sitting and reading traffic signs and signals.

**Location:** Key Bank Tower, Salt Lake City, Utah

**Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40

The hourly range is $32.77 - $51.61, dependent on experience.
