**Job Description:**
This position involves budgeting, strategic planning, variance analysis, patient account management, and operations data analysis. The role supports sound financial operations and provides analytical solutions such as forecasts, reports, dashboards, and tools for leadership and stakeholders to support business or clinical initiatives. It also involves developing, analyzing, and interpreting routine to minimally complex data sources to support process improvements, operations, strategy, and cost reduction. The duties are performed under initial close supervision, progressing to routine tasks with general review after training.
**This is a 100% remote position.** **However, we are currently unable to consider candidates for remote opportunities in the following states: California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, and Washington.**
+ Provides support and analysis for budgeting, strategic planning, variance reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for a facility, region, division, or system-wide team.
+ Supports specific routine tasks related to operating budgets, capital budgets, strategic planning, patient accounts, and operations. Non-routine tasks are closely supervised. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
+ Assists in preparing routine to minimally complex financial analysis, variance reports, and ad hoc reports. Collaborates with internal customers to develop and prepare quantitative reports analyzing clinical and operational issues.
+ May participate in system-wide processes or improvement projects under supervision.

**Financial Analyst I Pay Range:** $29.66 - $46.72
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field from an accredited institution. Education verified.
+ Entry-level role; no professional work experience required.
+ Preferred: One year of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics conducting routine financial analysis.
+ Preferred: Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, and scheduling applications.
+ Preferred: Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
**Financial Analyst II Pay Range:** $32.77 - $51.61
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution. Education verified.
+ Demonstrated experience in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
+ Demonstrated experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, and scheduling applications.
+ Two years of professional experience in financial analysis preferred.
+ Master’s degree in related field with less than two years of experience in financial analysis preferred.
+ Preferred: Project management skills, high accuracy, sound decision-making with limited supervision.
+ Preferred: Knowledge of Intermountain Healthcare finances and processes.
+ Preferred: Experience with budgeting and finance tracking responsibilities.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to see, read documents, monitors, and assess customer needs.
+ Frequent verbal communication with providers, colleagues, customers, patients, and visitors.
+ Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and computer use.
+ For roles requiring driving: ability to drive, see, and read signs and signals.

The hourly rate ranges from $32.77 to $51.61, depending on experience.
